NAMI Palm Beach County offers education, support, and advocacy for individuals living with mental illness and their family members. Some of our programs include:

NAMI Family to Family

A SAMHSA evidenced-based best practice, 12-session course for family caregivers of individuals with severe mental illnesses, teaching the knowledge and skills that families need to cope more effectively.


NAMI Family Support Group

A Peer-led support group for family members, caregivers, and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances.


NAMI Peer to Peer

A recovery education course open to anyone (18+) experiencing a mental health challenge. The course is designed to encourage growth, healing and recovery among participants.


NAMI Connection

90-minute peer-led support group for adults living with mental illness. Participants will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others. The groups are led by NAMI-trained facilitators who have “been there”.


NAMI Ending the Silence

50-minute presentation for middle and high school students, led by an adult lead presenter and a young adult living in recovery with a mental health condition. Ending the Silence helps students identify warning signs and learn how to seek help.


NAMI Provider

A class for line staff at facilities providing mental health treatment services. This class is designed to expand the participants’ compassion for the individuals and their families to promote a collaborative model of care.


NAMI Smarts for Advocacy

A hands-on advocacy training program that helps people living with mental health conditions, their friends, and family transform their passion and lived experience into skillful grassroots advocacy.


NAMI Mentoring Program

1 on 1 mentoring with a NAMI Peer Specialist. Programs available for ages 13-adult.


NAMI Young Adults Group

A social/support group for adults ages 18-35.


NAMI Peer Council

Provides opportunities to participate in self-directed initiatives for mutual aid and socialization.


NAMI On Wednesday (N.O.W.)

A weekly drop-in offering social and recreational opportunities.


General Meetings

Monthly educational talks about issues relevant to mental health.

Great Give Palm Beach & Martin Counties is a 24-hour online giving event led by United Way of Palm Beach County, Achieve, Nonprofits First, and United Way of Martin County designed to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits in a single day. This exciting community-wide event celebrates the spirit of giving and the collective effort it takes to strengthen our local nonprofits and better serve residents in need.
